Kate Scannell is a Seattle-area real estate broker and a graduate of the University of Washington, where she moved in 2014 and quickly built strong roots in the local community. After purchasing her first home in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood in 2019, her interest in real estate grew into a career focused on helping others navigate important life transitions through homeownership.
With a background in the legal field and family ties to the industry, Kate brings a detail-oriented approach to contracts, negotiation, and client advocacy. She began working with a Seattle townhouse developer while studying for her real estate license and became a licensed broker in 2022.
Kate works with a wide range of clients, from first-time homebuyers to experienced homeowners buying and selling, including those navigating major life changes such as downsizing or moving into assisted living. Her experience spans multiple property types, including rural properties, condos, and waterfront homes across the greater Seattle and Eastside markets.
Known for her clear communication, responsiveness, and relationship-first approach, Kate focuses on making the buying and selling process feel informed, smooth, and well supported from start to finish.
Outside of real estate, Kate enjoys spending time with family and friends, skiing in the winter, being on the water in the summer, and exploring the area with her dog, Maya.
